April 2025 Market Report Highlights Throughout the ongoing Spring season, buyer demand remains robust across key Bay Area neighborhoods:
San Mateo County:
- Average Sales Price: $2,762,777
- Median Sales Price: Rose 2.4% to $2,100,000 (up from $2,050,000 in April 2024).
- Homes Sold: 369 single-family homes sold, representing an 8.8% increase from April 2024 (339 homes).
- Average Price per Sq. Ft.: Increased 1.4% to $1,243 (compared to $1,226 in April 2024).
- Days on Market: Averaging 20 days, indicating strong buyer interest.
Santa Clara County:
- Average Sales Price: $2,454,705
- Median Sales Price: Grew 5.0% to $2,100,000 (compared to $2,000,000 in April 2024).
- Homes Sold: 827 single-family homes sold, reflecting a 1.7% increase from April 2024 (813 homes).
- Average Price per Sq. Ft.: Slight decrease of 1.3% to $1,258 (from $1,274 in April 2024).
- Days on Market: Averaging just 14 days, underscoring exceptionally strong buyer demand.
